Who Are Our Lessons For?
Our Lessons are for everyone. It’s never too late to start learning music. I offer lessons for students of all ages, from children to adults.
Beginner Lessons:
Beginner lessons will focus on knowing the instrument of choice, it’s parts and pieces, it’s place in music both historically and in recording. Early lesson repertoire will be selected based on experience and lesson materials will coincide with ideas discussed in lesson, and practiced by the student.
We do not force anyone to learn to read sheet music, but it is a beneficial way to communicate musically. The choice is yours to make.

Advanced Lessons:
Advanced lessons will take into consideration the knowledge possessed by the student and repertoire will be adjusted to accommodate a higher level of skill already possessed. Advanced students are students that can accurately name and navigate the notes on the fretboard of the guitar, or musical staff where voice lessons are concerned.
The inability to read sheet music as a guitar player is common, that does not necessitate you are a beginner player. It only means you haven’t acquired that skill yet, and that is completely your choice.
Adult Guitar Lessons:
We offer lessons to all ages and skill levels. The lessons will be tailored to your personal skill level and needs.
Our teaching method
In our music lessons we will focus on the eight elements of music: melody, harmony, rhythm, dynamics, tone/timbre, and structure/form.
We will do this by cultivating real musical skills, such as; active listening, discussion on song form/music theory, establishing a repertoire, and of course practicing our instrument!
Crafting a better music relationship:
Utilizing the instrument of your choice and practicing a hand selected repertoire we will discuss scales, instrumentation, music theory, time/meter, and dynamics. Crafting skills that will make you into the musician you want to be.
